Translation:
By Shatkarma comes purification; by Asana comes strength and firmness; by Mudra comes unwavering steadiness; by Pratyahara comes calm fortitude; by Pranayama comes inner lightness; by Dhyana comes direct realization of the Self; and by Samadhi comes total unattached liberation. Of this there is no doubt.

आसनानि समस्तानि यावन्तो जीवजन्तवः ।
चतुरशीतिलक्षाणि शिवेन कथितानि च ॥
तेषां मध्ये विशिष्टानि द्वात्रिंशत्संमुपाश्रयेत् ।
Padartha (Word-by-word):
यावन्तः जीवजन्तवः (As many living creatures as there are) समस्तानि आसनानि (so many postures exist) | चतुरशीतिलक्षाणि (8,400,000 asanas) शिवेन कथितानि (have been spoken by Lord Shiva) | तेषां मध्ये (Among them) विशिष्टानि द्वात्रिंशत् (32 chosen ones) समुपायश्रयेत् (should be adopted).
Translation:
There are as many postures as there are living species in the universe. Lord Shiva spoke of 8,400,000 asanas; among them, thirty-two are selected as supremely beneficial for mortals in this world.
