Translation: Yoga is the stilling of the changing states (fluctuations and whirlpools) of consciousness.

maitrī-karuṇā-muditopekṣāṇāṁ sukha-duḥkha-puṇyāpuṇya-viṣayāṇāṁ bhāvanātaś citta-prasādanam ||
