Do I need a floor plan?
No. Choosing a direction for each room is enough for every lens and the Essential reports. A drawn plan adds exact overlap, padas and marma points for the Advanced reports.
How is north found?
With your phone's compass, corrected by the NOAA World Magnetic Model for where you are. You can also type a reading from a handheld compass.
I rent. Is this useful to me?
Yes. Tell us you rent and the plan leads with changes you can make without the landlord: placement, colour, tape and use of rooms. Structural work is shown separately, for reference.
How is "what fixing does" worked out?
We score your home again with the chosen priorities counted as addressed, which means neutral rather than a bonus. Nothing else changes: same rules, same weights, same arithmetic.
