While the birth chart (D1) presents the initial earthly template of life, the Navamsha chart (D9) reveals the true fruits of marriage, soul-level destiny, and the partner’s character. Assessing Mars Exalted in Capricorn Uchha through the D9 chart is an indispensable step in thorough matchmaking.
Why Navamsha Overrides Rashi Chart Surface Flaws
Sage Parashara emphasizes that a planet’s strength in the birth chart remains incomplete without verifying its dignity in the Navamsha. An apparent dosha in Mars Exalted in Capricorn Uchha frequently loses its malefic potency if the planetary rulers are well-placed, exalted, or Vargottama in D9.
D9 Navamsha Evaluation Criteria
- Mars Dignity in D9: If Mars is placed in Capricorn (exalted), Aries, or Scorpio in the Navamsha, its destructive fire is transformed into noble, protective courage.
- Jupiter’s Aspect in D9: Benefic aspect from Jupiter onto the 7th house or Venus in the Navamsha chart grants wisdom, forgiveness, and long-term stability.
- Mutual Navamsha Alignment: When both partners share complementary Navamsha ascendants (1/5/9 or 1/7 axes), deep spiritual harmony easily triumphs over surface personality differences.
