Ayadi calculator
Ayadi is the Vastu tradition of checking a room or plot's proportions with six formulas worked on its length and breadth.
Formulas as given in the Manasara (chapter IX): Aaya, Vyaya, Nakshatra and Yoni from length and breadth, Vaara and Tithi from the perimeter. Measured in the classical hasta of 24 angulas (45.72 cm). A verdict is given for the two checks the texts state on the dimensions alone: Aaya greater than Vyaya, and an odd Yoni. The other four depend on the occupants or vary between texts, so they are shown for information. Regional traditions such as Kerala use a different unit and the perimeter, and can give different results.
