Tarot Birth Card Calculator: Decode Your Lifelong Soul Purpose & Archetypes

Just as your astrological Janam Kundli charts the celestial positions of the planets at the moment of your birth, your date of birth holds an exact esoteric numerological signature within the 22 Major Arcana cards of the Tarot. Formalized by pioneering tarot scholar Mary K. Greer in her landmark treatise Who Are You in the Tarot?, your Tarot Birth Cards represent your core spiritual blueprints, lifelong soul archetypes, and primary karmic challenges. While daily cards fluctuate with transitory currents, your Birth Cards remain constant across your lifetime. Most individuals possess a primary pair of Birth Cards—one representing conscious personality traits and external worldly gifts, and the other illuminating subconscious soul evolution and spiritual mastery. The Kriyasya Tarot Birth Card Calculator reduces your complete birth date to reveal your lifelong archetypal constellation.

The Mathematical Calculation of Tarot Birth Cards

The calculation method utilizes cross-sum digit reduction across the full birth date (DD + MM + YYYY):

The Cross-Sum Reduction Algorithm

1. Step 1: Sum the two digits of the birth day, two digits of the month, and four digits of the century and year (e.g., for July 24, 1988: 24 + 07 + 19 + 88 = 138).
2. Step 2: Add the digits of the resulting sum (1 + 3 + 8 = 12).
3. Step 3: Match the primary number to the corresponding Major Arcana card (12 = The Hanged Man).
4. Step 4: Further reduce the number to a single digit (1 + 2 = 3) to find the secondary partner card (3 = The Empress). This native embodies the constellation of The Hanged Man & The Empress.
