— Prasna Marga & Daivajna Vallabha (Pravasa Gamana)
In the revered tradition of Vedic Horary Astrology (Prashna Shastra) and Omen Divination (Nimitta), time is not a passive continuum but an active mirror of cosmic intent. When analyzing Safe Return of Foreign Travelers Prashna: 9th & 12th House Retrogression, classical treatises such as Prasna Marga and Varahamihira’s Daivajna Vallabha teach that an authentic query arises when karma is ripe for resolution. By analyzing the rising sign (Udaya Lagna), the querent’s breath, and ambient omens, the astrologer uncovers immediate truth.
Horary Divination Matrix: Planetary Indicators & Tajika Yogas
When loved ones travel overseas during stormy weather or international crises, Prashna evaluates the 9th and 12th houses. When the traveler’s significator turns retrograde or forms an Ithasala with the Lagna lord, they have completed their overseas mission and will board their return flight safely.
| Horary Parameter | Tajika / Parashari Factor | Manifested Life Outcome |
|---|---|---|
| Governing Query Domain | Overseas Journey Safety, Flight Delays, Traveler Return Timing & Protection | Directs relevant life sector, house significations & key actors |
| Underlying Cosmic Energetics | 9th House (Long Travel), 12th (Foreign Stay) & Lagna Ingress | Harmonizes situational intent, synchronicity & environmental omens |
| Classical Horary Verdict | Benefic planetary indicators confirm safe overseas journeys, protected flights, and joyful homecomings. | Establishes direct yes/no verdict, success probability & obstacles |
| Prescribed Shanti Upaya | Chant Hanuman Chalisa during travel days, maintain communication check-ins, and carry a protective silver coin. | Neutralizes inauspicious omens and restores cosmic flow |
Cancellation Exceptions: When Horary Afflictions Dissolve
A fundamental rule in classical Prashna is that negative indications are frequently overridden by powerful benefic yogas. When the Moon or Lagna lord forms an auspicious Ithasala (applying harmonious aspect) with the Karya lord, when Jupiter aspects the rising degree, or when favorable environmental omens (such as fresh white flowers or temple bells) occur at the moment of questioning, apparent delays dissolve into ultimate victory.
Authentic Non-Gem Remedial Protocols
To dissolve latent obstacles revealed by a difficult horary chart, classical Shastras prescribe Sattvic upayas: lighting a brass ghee lamp facing East, donating grain or clothing to the impoverished without charge, chanting the sacred Ganesha Sukta, and observing sincere introspection before making critical financial or legal decisions.
