प्रभु मेरे अवगुणों पर ध्यान न दें |
समदर्शी प्रभु आपका नाम है, यदि आप चाहें तो मुझे पार लगा दें ||
एक लोहे को पूजा में रखते हैं, एक घर में (कसाई के घर) परोसते हैं |
वह पारस (पारखी) लोहे के भेद को नहीं देखता, उसे खरा सोना बना देता है ||
एक नदी कहलाती है, एक नाला कहा जाता है, दोनों में मैला पानी भरा है |
जब दोनों मिलकर एक वर्ण (गंगा) के हो गए, तो उनका नाम ‘सुरसरी’ (गंगा) पड़ गया ||
