Meera appeals to Lord Hari (Vishnu/Krishna) to remove the suffering of His devotees. She reminds Him of His past deeds: He protected Draupadi’s honor by extending her sari infinitely. For His devotee Prahlad, He took the form of Narasimha and slew Hiranyakashipu without delay. He saved the drowning elephant king (Gajendra) and removed his suffering. Meera, as a humble servant of Lord Giridhar, asks Him to similarly remove suffering wherever it exists.
