(Hindi Lyrics)

Phonetic Hinglish Chanting Guide

Jag mein sundar hain do naam,
Chahe Krishna kaho ya Ram.
Dono ek Vishnu ke roop, dono avatari,
Ram ne Ravan maara jag mein, Krishna ne Kans sanhari.
Ram ne Sita ko paaya, Krishna ne Radha ko,
Dono ne dharm bachaya, dono ne baadha ko.
Naam japo chahe jiska bhi, ek hi manzil hai,
Jag mein sundar hain do naam, Prabhu ek hi asal hai.
Tulsi ne Ram gaaye, Sur ne Shyam gaaye,
Dono ne Prabhu ko paaya, dono ko naam taraye.
There are two beautiful names in the world — call Him Krishna or Ram. Both are forms of Vishnu, both are incarnations. Ram slew Ravana; Krishna destroyed Kamsa. Ram found Sita; Krishna found Radha. Both upheld Dharma and removed obstacles. Chant whichever name you wish — the destination is one. Both names are beautiful, but God is one in reality. Tulsidas sang of Ram, Surdas sang of Shyam — both found the Lord, both were saved by the Name.
