Matsya Avatar
Matsya Avatar is the first of Lord Vishnu's Dashavatara. In this form, Vishnu appeared as a giant golden fish to save Manu, the Saptarishis, the seeds of life, and the Vedas during the Great Flood. Matsya teaches that even during dissolution, God preserves dharma and knowledge for a new creation.
