जय श्री विश्वकर्म भगवाना। जय विश्वेश्वर कृपा निधाना॥
शिल्पाचार्य परम उपकारी। भुवना-पुत्र नाम छविकारी॥
अष्टमबसु प्रभास-सुत नागर। शिल्पज्ञान जग कियउ उजागर॥
अद्भुत सकल सृष्टि के कर्ता। सत्य ज्ञान श्रुति जग हित धर्ता॥
अतुल तेज तुम्हतो जग माहीं। कोई विश्व मंह जानत नाही॥
विश्व सृष्टि-कर्ता विश्वेशा। अद्भुत वरण विराज सुवेशा॥
एकानन पंचानन राजे। द्विभुज चतुर्भुज दशभुज साजे॥
चक्र सुदर्शन धारण कीन्हे। वारि कमण्डल वर कर लीन्हे॥
शिल्पशास्त्र अरु शंख अनूपा। सोहत सूत्र माप अनुरूपा॥
धनुष बाण अरु त्रिशूल धारी। गदा चक्र शंख अति भारी॥
रत्न जड़ित मुकुट सिर सोहे। मयूर वाहन अति मन मोहे॥
चार वेद तुम मुख ते गाए। त्रि-लोक काज तुमहिं बनाए॥
देवलोक अरु दानव डेरे। सब तुम करैं काम सवेरे॥
यक्ष, गंधर्व, किन्नर, नर-नारी। सब तुम से ही जीवत भारी॥
ब्रह्मा, विष्णु, शिव त्रय देवा। तुमहिं करत सब काज सेवा॥
विश्वकर्म तुम आदि अनादि। सकल सृष्टि के तुम उपाधि॥
धनुष, बाण, हल, पाश, कुल्हाड़ी। चक्र, गदा, शंख, त्रिशूल धारी॥
रत्नजड़ित मुकुट सिर सोहे। मयूर वाहन अति मन मोहे॥
चार वेद तुम मुख ते गाए। त्रि-लोक काज तुमहिं बनाए॥
देवलोक अरु दानव डेरे। सब तुम करैं काम सवेरे॥

अर्थ: हे विश्वकर्मा प्रभु, मैं आपके चरण कमलों में ध्यान लगाकर वंदना करता हूँ। हे दया के भंडार, मुझे श्री (समृद्धि), शुभ (कल्याण), बल (शक्ति) और शिल्प के गुण (कलात्मक कौशल) प्रदान कीजिए।
O Lord Vishwakarma, I bow to you, meditating upon your lotus feet. O treasure of compassion, please bestow upon me prosperity, auspiciousness, strength, and the virtues of craftsmanship.
अर्थ: भगवान श्री विश्वकर्मा की जय हो! हे विश्व के स्वामी, कृपा के सागर, आपकी जय हो!
Victory to Lord Shri Vishwakarma! Victory to Vishweshwar, the abode of grace!
अर्थ: आप शिल्प कला के परम आचार्य हैं, अत्यंत उपकार करने वाले हैं। आप भुवना के पुत्र हैं और आपका नाम अत्यंत शोभायमान है।
You are the supreme master of craftsmanship, the greatest benefactor. You are the son of Bhuvana, and your name is exceedingly glorious.
अर्थ: आप अष्ट वसुओं में से एक प्रभास के चतुर पुत्र हैं, जिन्होंने शिल्प ज्ञान को संसार में प्रकाशित किया।
You are the clever son of Prabhas, one of the eight Vasus, who illuminated the world with the knowledge of craftsmanship.
अर्थ: आप समस्त अद्भुत सृष्टि के रचयिता हैं। आप सत्य ज्ञान और वेदों (श्रुतियों) को धारण करने वाले तथा जगत का हित करने वाले हैं।
You are the creator of all wondrous creation. You uphold true knowledge and the scriptures (Vedas), and you are the benefactor of the world.
अर्थ: हे भगवान विश्वकर्मा, आपके जैसा अतुलनीय तेज और प्रताप इस संसार में कोई नहीं जानता। आपका दिव्य प्रकाश अद्वितीय है।
O Lord Vishwakarma, no one in this world knows of such unparalleled radiance and glory as yours. Your divine light is unique.
अर्थ: आप इस संपूर्ण विश्व के सृष्टिकर्ता हैं, समस्त ब्रह्मांड के स्वामी हैं। आपका स्वरूप अद्भुत है और आप अत्यंत सुंदर वेशभूषा में सुशोभित होते हैं।
You are the creator of this entire universe, the Lord of all cosmos. Your form is wondrous, and you are adorned in magnificent attire.
अर्थ: आप एक मुख वाले, पाँच मुख वाले, दो भुजाओं वाले, चार भुजाओं वाले और दस भुजाओं वाले रूपों में सुशोभित होते हैं, जो आपकी विविध शक्तियों और अभिव्यक्तियों को दर्शाता है।
You are adorned in forms with one face, five faces, two arms, four arms, and ten arms, signifying your diverse powers and manifestations.
अर्थ: आपने अपने हाथों में सुदर्शन चक्र धारण किया हुआ है, और श्रेष्ठ हाथों में जल से भरा कमंडल भी शोभायमान है।
You hold the Sudarshana Chakra in your hands, and a water pot filled with sacred water also adorns your blessed hands.
अर्थ: आपके पास अनुपम शिल्पशास्त्र का ज्ञान है, और आपके साथ शंख तथा माप के अनुरूप सूत्र (मापने के उपकरण) सुशोभित हैं।
You possess unparalleled knowledge of architecture and crafts (Shilpashastra), and you are adorned with a conch and measuring threads (tools) appropriate for measurement.
अर्थ: आप धनुष, बाण और त्रिशूल धारण करते हैं, और आपके हाथों में अत्यंत प्रभावशाली गदा, चक्र तथा शंख सुशोभित हैं।
You wield the bow, arrow, and trident, and in your hands shine the exceedingly powerful mace, discus, and conch.
अर्थ: आपके मस्तक पर रत्नों से जड़ा हुआ मुकुट सुशोभित है, और आपका मयूर वाहन अत्यंत मनमोहक है, जो भक्तों के चित्त को हर लेता है।
A gem-studded crown adorns your head, and your peacock vehicle is exceedingly captivating, enchanting the minds of devotees.
अर्थ: आपके मुख से चारों वेदों का ज्ञान प्रकट हुआ है, और तीनों लोकों के समस्त कार्य आपने ही निर्मित किए हैं।
From your mouth, the knowledge of the four Vedas has emanated, and all the affairs and workings of the three worlds have been created by you alone.
अर्थ: देवलोक और दानवों के निवास स्थान, सभी आपके द्वारा निर्धारित नियमों और व्यवस्था के अनुसार ही अपने कार्य प्रातःकाल से ही आरंभ करते हैं।
The abodes of the gods and the dwellings of the demons—all commence their tasks from early morning according to the rules and order established by you.
अर्थ: यक्ष, गंधर्व, किन्नर, तथा समस्त मनुष्य और नारियाँ – ये सभी प्राणी आपके ही आश्रय और कृपा से जीवन धारण करते हैं और अपना अस्तित्व बनाए रखते हैं।
Yakshas, Gandharvas, Kinnaras, and all human beings, both men and women – all these beings sustain their lives and existence solely through your shelter and grace.
अर्थ: ब्रह्मा, विष्णु और शिव, ये तीनों प्रमुख देवता भी आपके ही कार्यों की सेवा में संलग्न रहते हैं।
Even Brahma, Vishnu, and Shiva, the three supreme deities, perform all their functions in service to you.
अर्थ: हे विश्वकर्मा! आप ही आदि हैं और आप ही अनादि हैं। आप ही समस्त सृष्टि के मूल कारण और उपादान हैं।
O Vishwakarma! You are the beginning and the endless. You are the fundamental cause and the very essence of all creation.
अर्थ: आप अष्टभुजा और दशभुजा जैसे अनेक रूप धारण करते हैं। आपने ही समस्त लोकों को सुंदर और सुव्यवस्थित किया है।
You manifest in various forms, such as eight-armed and ten-armed. You alone have adorned and meticulously arranged all the worlds.
अर्थ: आपने ही संपूर्ण जगत की रचना की है। आपने ही सभी प्रकार की कलाओं, शिल्पों और कार्यप्रणालियों को प्रदान किया है।
You alone have orchestrated the creation of the entire universe. You have also bestowed all methods, arts, and techniques.
अर्थ: आप अष्ट वसुओं के चतुर पुत्र हैं। आप ही समस्त जगत के भंडार और आधार हैं।
You are the skilled and wise son of the eight Vasus. You are the very repository and foundation of the entire world.
अर्थ: हे भगवान विश्वकर्मा, आप ही समस्त शिल्प कलाओं के आदि उपदेशक हैं, और आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के सृजनकर्ता हैं।
O Lord Vishwakarma, you are the prime instructor of all arts and crafts, and indeed, you are the creator of the entire universe.
अर्थ: आप अष्ट सिद्धियों (आठ अलौकिक शक्तियाँ) और नव निधियों (कुबेर की नौ दिव्य संपत्तियाँ) के प्रदाता हैं। आप ही समस्त लोकों के भाग्यविधाता और नियामक हैं।
You are the bestower of the eight Siddhis (supernatural powers) and the nine Nidhis (divine treasures of Kubera). You are the ordainer and regulator of all worlds.
अर्थ: जो कोई भी भक्त एकाग्र चित्त से आपका ध्यान करता है, आप उसके सभी मनोरथों और इच्छाओं को पूर्ण करते हैं।
Any devotee who meditates upon you with a focused mind, you fulfill all their aspirations and desires.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के मूल आधार हैं, और आप ही समस्त लोकों के प्रमुख अधिपति (स्वामी) हैं।
You are the fundamental support of the entire universe, and you are the chief sovereign (master) of all worlds.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के रक्षक और उद्धारकर्ता हैं, और आप ही समस्त प्राणियों को सब कुछ प्रदान करने वाले परम दाता हैं।
You are the protector and savior of the entire universe, and you are the supreme giver who bestows everything upon all beings.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के स्वामी हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार की कामनाओं (इच्छाओं और उनके फल) के प्रदाता हैं।
You alone are the Lord of the entire universe, and You alone are the fulfiller of all desires and the provider of their fruits in this world.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के ध्यान करने वाले (या ध्यान के विषय) हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के परम ज्ञानी हैं।
You alone are the object of meditation for the entire universe, and You alone are the supremely knowledgeable one of all worlds.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत के रक्षक हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के संहारक (भक्षण करने वाले) भी हैं।
You alone are the protector of the entire universe, and You alone are also the devourer (destroyer) of all worlds.
अर्थ: आप ही संपूर्ण जगत का पालन करने वाले हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के नियामक (संचालक) हैं।

अर्थ: आप ही समस्त जगत को सब कुछ प्रदान करने वाले हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के गूढ़ रहस्यों को जानने वाले हैं।
You alone are the giver of everything to all the worlds, and you alone are the knower of all the profound secrets of the entire universe.
अर्थ: आप ही समस्त जगत के अधिपति और नियंत्रक हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार की इच्छाओं (कामनाओं) और पुरुषार्थ के प्रेरक हैं।
You alone are the master and controller of all the worlds, and you alone are the inspirer of all desires (aspirations) and endeavors in the entire universe.
अर्थ: आप ही समस्त जगत के ध्यान करने वाले (परम योगी) हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के परम ज्ञानी (सर्वज्ञ) हैं।
You alone are the meditator (the supreme Yogi) of all the worlds, and you alone are the supremely knowledgeable one (the omniscient) of the entire universe.
अर्थ: आप ही समस्त जगत के रक्षक हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार के संहारक भी हैं।
You alone are the protector of all the worlds, and you alone are also the destroyer of the entire universe.
अर्थ: आप ही समस्त जगत का पालन-पोषण करने वाले हैं, और आप ही समस्त संसार को गति देने वाले (संचालक) हैं।

अर्थ: आप ही समस्त संसार के ज्ञाता हैं, आप ही समस्त संसार के रक्षक हैं।

अर्थ: आप ही समस्त संसार के दाता हैं, आप ही समस्त संसार के ज्ञाता हैं।

अर्थ: जो कोई भी इस श्री विश्वकर्मा चालीसा का श्रद्धापूर्वक गान करता है, वह सभी प्रकार के सुखों का अनुभव करता है और भवसागर से पार हो जाता है (मोक्ष प्राप्त करता है)।
Whoever devoutly recites this Shri Vishwakarma Chalisa experiences all kinds of happiness and crosses the ocean of existence (attains liberation).
