वक्रतुण्ड महाकाय सूर्यकोटि समप्रभ ।
निर्विघ्नं कुरु मे देव सर्वकार्येषु सर्वदा ॥१॥
गजाननं भूतगणादि सेवितं
कपित्थ जम्बूफलसार भक्षितम् ।
उमासुतं शोक विनाशकारकं
नमामि विघ्नेश्वर पादपङ्कजम् ॥२॥
मूषिक वाहन मोदक हस्त
चामर कर्ण विलम्बित सूत्र ।
वामन रूप महेश्वर पुत्र
विघ्न विनायक पाद नमस्ते ॥३॥

अर्थ: हे वक्रतुण्ड (टेढ़ी सूंड वाले), विशाल शरीर वाले, करोड़ों सूर्यों के समान तेजस्वी देव! आप मेरे सभी कार्यों को सदा निर्विघ्न पूर्ण करें।
O Lord with a curved trunk, a mighty body, and the radiance of a million suns! Please make all my endeavors free from obstacles, always.
अर्थ: जो गजमुख हैं, भूतगणों द्वारा सेवित हैं, कैथ और जामुन के फल का सार ग्रहण करने वाले हैं, माता उमा के पुत्र हैं और सभी दुखों का नाश करने वाले हैं, उन विघ्नेश्वर के चरण कमलों को मैं प्रणाम करता हूँ।
I bow to the lotus feet of Vighneshwara (Ganesha), who has the face of an elephant, is served by the host of Ganas, who relishes the essence of Kapittha (wood apple) and Jambu (rose apple) fruits, who is the son of Mother Uma, and who is the destroyer of all sorrows.
अर्थ: जिनका वाहन मूषक है, जिनके हाथ में मोदक है, जिनके कान चामर के समान हैं, जिन्होंने यज्ञोपवीत धारण किया है, जो वामन रूप वाले और भगवान शिव के पुत्र हैं, उन विघ्न विनायक के चरणों में मेरा नमस्कार है।
Salutations to the feet of Vighna Vinayaka (Ganesha), whose vehicle is the mouse, who holds a modak in his hand, whose ears are like fans, who wears the sacred thread, who is of a dwarf form, and who is the son of Lord Maheshwara (Shiva).
