अर्थ: हे कश्यप ऋषि के पुत्र, हे अदिति के नंदन (सूर्य देव), आपकी जय हो! आप तीनों लोकों के अंधकार को दूर करने वाले हैं और भक्तों के हृदय को चंदन के समान शीतलता प्रदान करने वाले हैं।
Hail, Son of Kashyap, Om Hail, Son of Aditi! You dispel the darkness of the three worlds, and you are like sandalwood to the hearts of devotees.
अर्थ: आप सात घोड़ों वाले रथ पर विराजमान हैं और एक चक्र धारण करते हैं। आप दुखों को हरने वाले, सुख प्रदान करने वाले और शुभ करने वाले हैं।
You are seated on a chariot drawn by seven horses, holding a single wheel. You are the remover of sorrows, the bestower of happiness, and the bringer of auspiciousness.
अर्थ: आप संपूर्ण सृष्टि के स्वामी हैं, आप ही दिनकर (दिन को करने वाले) हैं। आप अंधकार का नाश करने वाले, आप ही भास्कर (प्रकाश देने वाले) हैं।
You are the Lord of the entire creation, you are the maker of the day (Dinkar). You are the destroyer of darkness, you are the giver of light (Bhaskar).
अर्थ: आपके हाथ कमल के समान हैं, आपका वर्ण श्वेत है, आप ही रवि (सूर्य) हैं। आप तेज के पुंज (समूह), प्रकाश के पुंज हैं, आप ही कवि (ज्ञानी) हैं।
Your hands are like lotuses, your complexion is bright, you are Ravi (the Sun). You are an embodiment of radiance, a mass of light, you are the wise one (Kavi).
अर्थ: वेदों ने आपका गुणगान किया है, ऋषि-मुनियों ने आपका ध्यान किया है। आप रोगों और दुखों को हरने वाले हैं, आप ही माया (दिव्य शक्ति) हैं।
The Vedas have sung your glories, and sages and ascetics meditate upon you. You are the remover of diseases and sorrows, you are the divine power (Maya).
अर्थ: जो कोई भी आदित्य हृदय स्तोत्र का पाठ करता है, वह मनचाहा फल प्राप्त करता है और सुख-संपत्ति पाता है।
Whoever recites the Aditya Hridaya Stotra attains their desired fruits and receives happiness and prosperity.
अर्थ: हे कश्यप ऋषि के पुत्र, हे अदिति के नंदन (सूर्य देव), आपकी जय हो! आप तीनों लोकों के अंधकार को दूर करने वाले हैं और भक्तों के हृदय को चंदन के समान शीतलता प्रदान करने वाले हैं।
