नमस्ते नरसिंहाय
प्रह्लादाह्लाददायिने ।
हिरण्यकशिपोर्वक्षः-
शिलाटङ्कनखालये ॥१॥
इतो नृसिंहः परतो नृसिंहो
यतो यतो यामि ततो नृसिंहः ।
बहिर्नृसिंहो हृदये नृसिंहो
नृसिंहमादिं शरणं प्रपद्ये ॥२॥
Namaste Narasimhaya
Prahladahlada-dayine |
Hiranyakashipor-vakshah-
Shila-tanka-nakhalaye ||1||
Ito Nrisimhah Parato Nrisimho
Yato Yato Yami Tato Nrisimhah |
Bahir Nrisimho Hridaye Nrisimho
Nrisimham Adim Sharanam Prapadye ||2||
अर्थ: हे नरसिंह देव, आपको मेरा नमस्कार है। आप प्रह्लाद महाराज को आनंद देने वाले हैं। आपके नाखून हिरण्यकशिपु के वक्षस्थल रूपी शिला को तोड़ने वाले छेनी के समान हैं।
I offer my obeisances to Lord Narasimha, who gives joy to Prahlada Maharaja, and whose nails are like chisels on the stonelike chest of Hiranyakashipu.
अर्थ: नरसिंह यहाँ हैं, नरसिंह वहाँ हैं। जहाँ-जहाँ मैं जाता हूँ, वहाँ-वहाँ नरसिंह हैं। नरसिंह बाहर हैं, नरसिंह हृदय में हैं। मैं आदिदेव नरसिंह की शरण ग्रहण करता हूँ।
Lord Narasimha is here, and Lord Narasimha is there. Wherever I go, Lord Narasimha is present. He is outside and He is in my heart. I surrender to Lord Narasimha, the origin of all.
