अर्थ: आप महाकाली का ही रूप हैं, भक्तों की रक्षा करने वाली माँ हैं। आप अंधकार को दूर करती हैं और ज्ञान की ज्योति जलाती हैं।
You are the form of Mahakali, the protector of your devotees, O Mother. You dispel darkness and ignite the light of knowledge.
अर्थ: जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की, जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की! हे माँ कालरात्रि, आप दुष्टों का संहार करने वाली हैं।

अर्थ: आप त्रिशूल धारण करने वाली हैं, खड्ग धारण करने वाली हैं, आपने रक्तबीज का नाश किया। आपने चंड और मुंड जैसे राक्षसों को मार गिराया और शुंभ-निशुंभ का भी संहार किया।
You wield the trident, you hold the sword, and you annihilated Raktbeej. You struck down Chand and Mund, and you vanquished Shumbh and Nishumbh.
अर्थ: जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की, जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की! हे माँ कालरात्रि, आप दुष्टों का संहार करने वाली हैं।

अर्थ: आप भय का नाश करने वाली हैं, दुखों को हरने वाली हैं और सुख-शांति प्रदान करने वाली माँ हैं। जो भी आपकी शरण में आता है, आप उसके बिगड़े हुए काम बना देती हैं।
You are the dispeller of fear, the remover of sorrows, and the bestower of peace and happiness, O Mother. Whoever comes to your refuge, you mend their broken fortunes.

अर्थ: आपका वर्ण रक्त के समान लाल है, आपके केश बिखरे हुए हैं और गले में मुंडमाला सुशोभित है। पापी आपसे भयभीत होते हैं, जबकि भक्तजन आपके गुणों का गान करते हैं।
Your complexion is blood-red, your hair is disheveled, and a garland of skulls adorns your neck. Sinners are terrified of you, while your devotees sing your praises.
अर्थ: जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की, जय हो माँ कालरात्रि की! हे माँ कालरात्रि, आप दुष्टों का संहार करने वाली हैं।

अर्थ: जो कोई भी आपकी यह आरती गाता है, वह अपनी मनचाही इच्छाओं को प्राप्त करता है। उसके सभी रोग और शोक दूर हो जाते हैं और अंत में उसे मोक्ष की प्राप्ति होती है।
Whoever sings this Aarti of yours attains their desired fruits. All their diseases and sorrows are dispelled, and ultimately, they achieve liberation (Moksha).
